On June 26, 2023, in Luxembourg, on the sidelines of the 10th meeting of the Cooperation Council between the Republic of Tajikistan and the European Union, a meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin and the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell.

 

 

 

 

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current agenda of bilateral relations and exchanged views on the ways of enhancement and expansion of cooperation between Tajikistan and the EU in the political, economic, and humanitarian spheres. Issues of regional security, situation in Afghanistan, the threat of terrorism and extremism and other topics of mutual interest were also discussed.
